Design and implementation of a team building and development programme for a group of managers within a fast growing organisation.

The client had grown over 110% year on year since its foundation and wanted to maintain this growth whist at the same time develop a more structured and formal set of management procedures.

Specifically this involved developing their skills in the following areas:

  • How to remain motivated in difficult circumstances
  • Creating team-spirit through staying personally motivated
  • Setting targets that motivate rather than create cynicism
  • Dealing with negativity in yourself and others
  • Dealing with conflict and stressful situations
  • Communication as the key to a participative, improvement culture
  • Developing effective man-management systems

Programme structure involved a total of five days 'group' training work followed by one to one personal coaching sessions.

Key outcomes :

  • The development of a core 'management' group to lead the organisation
  • Resolution of a number of critical organisation issues
  • The establishment of a structured framework for future management development
